Dr. Fatin Said Al Zadjali

Acting Assistant Dean for Academic Support and Student Affairs and Head- Islamic Finance at CBFS. She began her career as a banker and worked in two of the major banks in Oman in the investment banking divisions. She subsequently joined CBFS and evolved into the role of academic and training faculty. She has done her bachelor’s in business from Australia, Diploma in Banking from IBFS and MBA from University of Strathclyde – UK and Phd in Islamic Finace at INCEIF- Malaysia. She also has various training related Certifications such as Certified Training Professional (CTP), Creative Train the Trainer, NLP for Trainers, besides being a Certified Islamic Banker. Her areas of training expertise are behavioural skills, Islamic banking, social and green finance. She delivered trainings on Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) – CISI, Islamic Finance products and IF contracts and sharia issues in IF. Among major clients in which she delivered training include Central Bank of Oman, Meethaq, Bank Muscat and other local banks.

Dr. Fatin worked to develop sustainability indicators for the CIMB bank project – Malaysia in collaboration with INCEIF fraternity. Dr. Fatin was the vice president of the research club at INCEIF for 2 years. She is currently publishing a paper on the Impact of COVID-19 on the GCC stock market; Risks and returns of sharia and non-sharia complaint stocks.
