As COVID-19 is rampaging across the globe...

As of June 16, 2020, at 2;00 P.M ET, global cumulative cases of COVID-19 stand at 8.19 million cases, according to covid19liveupdates.org

As COVID-19 is rampaging across the globe, the demand for accessible data trackers is prevalent. At seventeen, a high school senior from Utah, U.S.A, Zydaan Siddiqi, coded one of the most detailed trackers for COVID-19 data — covid19liveupdates.org. In conversation with Siddiqi, he initiated the project in early 2020, intending to provide "easy to interpret data". Since early January 2020, the platform — originally named "Health Outbreaks, he mentioned — has had views over 200 million views (metrics confirmed by site stats pro).

What are your future plans for the platform?

Siddiqi who recently graduated from high school asserted his plans to continue his education at The University of Utah by studying Data Science, with an emphasis on Public Health. In relation to his COVID-19 tracker, Siddiqi mentioned he is rolling out a free course platform, which he named "Asclepius Academy" to provide mental health courses for kids his age.

Thank you, Zydaan for your brief interview and all the best with your future endeavors.
